A selection of our selenium isotopes:
Selenium-74 (Se-74)
- Se-74 is used in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry in gamma cameras.
- Se-74 is the stable precursor of Se-75 and these sources have a relative soft gamma spectrum compared to for instance Ir-192 sources.
Selenium-76 (Se-76)
- Se-76 can be used for the production of the medical isotopes Br-75 and Br-76.
Selenium-77 (Se-77)
- Se-77 is used for the production of the therapeutic radioisotope Br-77.
Selenium-78 (Se-78)
- Se-78 is used for the production of the therapeutic radioisotope Br-77.
Selenium-80 (Se-80)
- Se-80 is used for the production of the medical radioisotope Br-80m.
Selenium-82 (Se-82)
- Se-82 exhibits so-called double Beta decay and it is used in neutrinoless double Beta decay research.
